Through personalized voice lessons, I have been helping singers maximize their potential for over 20 years. I have held voice faculty posts at USC, Pepperdine and California Lutheran University. Whether on the University campus or through my private studio voice lessons, I strive to create an environment where singers can develop their goals and maximize their talents in any genre.
Voice Lessons for All Levels and Genres
I have had celebrity students working on Broadway call-backs, Artists building their technique for indie tours, countless students preparing for undergraduate and graduate music programs (classical and Musical Theatre). I’ve coached singers into professional vocal ensembles and prepared them for world class competition. I’ve also worked with singers just starting out and exploring their voice as well as people who simply want to reconnect with music after life and career took them in other directions. No matter what your background, what your goals, if you want to improve your singing and connect to your artistry, voice lessons are a great place to start!
College Preparation
In addition to hobby singers and professional singers, every year I successfully coach many singers through the complex college audition process. My students have been accepted to music programs at USC, Oberlin, Berklee College of Music, Vanderbilt, Westminster Choir College, NYU, UCLA, Juilliard, and AMDA (among others).
Singing is Good For Everyone!
Whether your aspirations are a million streams on Spotify, nailing that broadway audition, preparing for a university program or just feeling more comfortable in your church choir, voice lessons are the answer. Through those lessons, I am here to support you on your journey of musical discovery.
Voice Lessons are taught one-on-one in person at my home studio in Thousand Oaks, CA or in my Southern California campus studio OR online via ZOOM.

In both private lessons and master classes, she meets students where they are and never makes them wrong, even the newest beginner; instead, every skill that needs building becomes an opportunity to teach that individual, as well as those observing. Heidi uses language that covertly and overtly supports growth in students, rather than criticism. She demands a supportive, team-building, collaborative environment from her students – and she gets it.
